Athletic Fees – Part 2

Thank you to all who have paid your athletic fees for the fall season. If you have not done so, please complete the permission form and make your payment through the school store. While the fee helps cover the costs we incur running athletic teams, the form also provides a shirt size which we use to purchase a Knight clothing item for our athletes. Without the fee being paid, your athlete will not get the clothing item.

Athletic Fees

We are collecting our athletic fees through the Highroad School Store. For those who are home-schooling your children and participating on a Highroad team, you should have received an e-mail with directions on how to pay for your player(s).

Current Highroad families can access the store through the “MyHRA” tab on the school website. Please select the appropriate team, enter the information that is asked for, and pay the fee. Thank you!

(Having any issues with this, please e-mail Shawn Krahn (skrahn@highroadacademy.com).)

Keeping Updated

The athletic department knows that staying on top of practice and games schedules, especially when you start having more than one child involved, can be challenging. Here are some ways you can find out when and where Highroad athletes are practicing and competing.

  1. This blog (highroadathletics.edublogs.org).
  2. Our Instagram account (highroadathletics).
  3. Eastern Valley Athletic Association (EVAA) website: evathletics.ca
    • This website is where you can find current standings for in our league play
    • For grades 9-12

Pictures

A huge thank you to all of the players and families who have come out for volleyball and cross-country this past month. It has been exciting to see the work paying off in competition.

I have a request. As you come out to cheer on your children and/or their friends, and as you take pictures of our athletes in action, could you please share the pictures with us (skrahn@highroadacademy.com)? It is helpful for the athletics department to have pictures we can use with our Instagram account (highroadathletics), at our athletic awards evening in June, and to share with those creating our yearbook. Thank you!
