Tournament Action at Seaquam

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us – Hebrews 12:1

This past weekend the Grade 8/9 volleyball team traveled to Seaquam Secondary in Delta for a tournament. Facing older competition, from bigger schools, the girls displayed perseverance that will help them get far in life! Their attitudes grew more positive throughout the tournament despite the lack of success on the scoresheet. There is a renewed sense of excitement in relation to the rest of this season and beyond.

There were many memorable moments. From the bus refusing to go faster than 60 km/h on Saturday morning, to celebrating a teammate’s birthday, to having a successful return of a spike serve. The season continues this coming Thursday when the girls play G.W. Graham at Highroad, after school. Come on out and see some amazing young ladies continue to persevere into awesome volleyball players.
