The Junior Girls volleyball team continued to win last night with a 3-0 victory over Sardis Secondary Grade 9 team.

They continue their season next Tuesday (Oct 2nd) with a game at Chilliwack Secondary at 4pm.

It was a great start to the season yesterday.  Just a reminder to the boys that there is practice after school today from 3-4:30.

Boys Soccer Schedule

Dismissal time for the boys is 15 minutes before departure time.  The school shuttle is booked for all the games below.

Sr. Boys Soccer

• Exhibition Game at Unity Christian School. Thursday at 3:30 pm
• Bus will be leaving Highroad at 2:35 pm to drop students off at Unity
• Parents are expected to pick up students from Unity

Grade 7-12 Cross Country

• Meet #1 Thursday at 3:30 pm at Twin Rinks
  • Grade 6-7’s run at 3:30pm
  • Grade 8-10’s run at 4pm
  • Grade 11-12’s run at 4:30pm
• Bus will be leaving Highroad at 2:35 pm to drop students off at Twin Rinks
• Parents are expected to pick up students from Twin Rinks

Jr. Girls Volleyball

• Game #2 at Highroad, Tuesday September 25th (4 pm to 5:30 pm) vs. SSS

The Highroad Academy Jr. Girls Volleyball team has had a strong start to the season by winning the consolation championship at the Mouat Junior Hawks Rally in the Valley. On the second day of the tournament the team beat teams from Rick Hansen (both Grade 9 and 10 team) and Bateman (Grade 10 Team).

The girls followed up these wins by winning their first league game at Unity Christian School tonight 3 games to 0.

Congratulation girl to a great start of the season!!!

Their next game is Tuesday September 25th at Highroad vs. Sardis Secondary !

Fall Sports Tryouts:

Girls Volleyball – Grades 6 to 12
– Wed (Sept 5th) and Thurs (Sept 6th) from 3pm to 5pm

Boys Soccer – Grades 8 to 12
– Thursday (Sept 6th) from 3pm to 4:30pm

Cross-Country – Grades 7-12 *Meeting Only
– Friday (Sept 7th) from 3pm to 3:30pm

• Note – Grades 6-7 Co-Ed Soccer practices will begin on Wednesday September 19th
