I hope that all the boys have relayed the message that we are not going to be playing tomorrow. There was a problem with one of the other teams pulling out.   We were going to struggle to field a full team tomorrow so it made most sense for us to pull out as well so that the entire tournament wasn’t thrown into chaos.

We have one game left in the season.  We play Credo on Tuesday at 3:30pm at Townsend Park.  The shuttle will take the boys to the field, but we need you to pick them up there around 5pm. Thanks,

It’s a long story, but the brief version is that we won’t be playing Credo tomorrow.  The game is now scheduled for Tuesday at 3:30pm at Townsend Park.  Sorry for the late notice.

The shuttle will be leaving at 7am on Friday.  Please be on time!

On Friday, we’ll leave at 7:00am from the school.  Our first game is at 8:20am.  Our second game is at 1:40pm.  In between games, we’ll likely head to Willowbrook Mall in Langley for an hour or so.  The boys need to bring food or money for lunch.  We should be home around 3:45pm.

Saturday’s games or game will be determined by Friday’s results.  I know we have a group of boys that may not be able to play on Saturday and I need to know as soon as possible who can’t attend. Please text me (604 799-4680) if Saturday is going to be an issue.

Today we play Unity at Townsend Park at 3:30pm.  We’ll use the shuttle to transport the boys to the game, but as with all home games, we’re asking parents to pick up at the field around 5:00pm.  I am able to transport a few boys back to the school, if necessary.

We play on Thursday at home against Credo, so it’s the same arrangement again on the transportation.

On Friday and Saturday we have the Christian Schools tournament in Langley.  The boys will be away from school all day on Friday.  I will send out more info as we figure out the details.

We have had a couple of losses to follow up our win against Agassiz.  The next couple of games will determine whether we make the playoffs and possibly provincials.  I have been impressed by the boys’ attitudes and their effort level.  We’re a little inexperienced and fairly young, but this hasn’t deterred them at all.

Today we play Dasmesh at Townsend Park at 3:30pm.  The boys will leave the school at 2:30pm on the school shuttle.  We don’t have the shuttle for the return trip.  We’re hoping that you can pick up your boys at the field, but I will bring the remaining boys back to Highroad by around 5pm.

Next week we play Tuesday and Thursday at Townsend Park, and we will have the same situation.  The boys will go on the shuttle, but will need to be picked up at the field.  We also have a tournament on Friday and Saturday next week.  The boys will be away from school all day on Friday (2 games) and, depending on the outcome of those games, play another 1 or 2 games on Saturday.

We’re really hoping that the jackets arrive before the end of the season.

Just a reminder that we have a game in White Rock tomorrow.  We’ll be leaving the school at 1:30 and should be back around 6:30.  There’s a pretty good chance we’ll stop for some fast food on our way back so the boys may want to bring some money.  This is our last away game until the playoffs.  The next three games are all at Townsend Park here in Chilliwack.
